Client wanted to benchmark the best practices followed for acquisition, maintenance and planning, and resale of fleet practised by car rental and car leasing companies in the US and Europe






Approach

•Client wanted to conduct in-depth (qualitative) interviews across all operational functionalities to benchmark the process of fleet management in car rental and leasing industry and how it differs company-wise in the US and Europe

•MartLenz conducted 65 telephonic interviews (as per the allocated quota; geography-wise) in the US and Europe

•Discussion guides were shared by the client which comprises questions according to different operational domains

•Client specifications were thoroughly briefed to the team - project manager, research analyst and moderators; leads were generated leveraging the internal database and conducting real-time sampling

•65 qualitative interviews (with LoI = 45-60 minutes) were conducted with the help of language experts;; translation and transcription was done by MartLenz

•Results were shared on piece-meal basis; feedback sessions were conducted post sharing each set of transcripts so that data-gaps can be addressed efficiently

•PowerPoint report was shared summarising the results along with data analysis
